COLOMBO: Weerathunge Arachchige Hasini Rathsara Weerathunge (Index No. 60101369) of Devi Balika MV, Colombo secured the first place in the island in the GCE O/L December 2006 examination the Department of Examinations said. Karawitage Pasindu Madusanka Perera (Index No. 60087137) of Nalanda Vidyalaya Colombo 10 and Atapattu Mudiyanselage Sachille Atapattu (Index No. 60121588) of Royal College Colombo were placed second and third.
