SLAF pounds two sea tiger bases

JAFFNA: Sri Lanka Air Force carried out two air strikes on identified LTTE targets in Chundikulam, 9 kilometres north of Chalai, yesterday morning, a release from the Media Centre for National Security said.

The targets were sea tiger bases. Before launching the air strikes terrorist movements were observed at the sea base.

The first air strike was launched at 9.00 a.m. and the other at 12.00 p.m. Two air strikes were launched after carefully identifying the terrorist targets, the release added.
