Colonel Suraweera’s funeral today

COLOMBO: The funeral of Colonel Jayantha Suraweera, the commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Gajaba Regiment, Saliyapura, Anuradhapura who was killed by LTTE during his visit to the Wilpattu National Park will take place today at Homagama General Cemetery at 3.15 pm with military honours.

The remains now lies at his residence, No.233/4, Pragathi Mawatha, Homagama. He leaves his wife Anoma Shirani Suraweera, and two sons Dishan Jeewantha and Ravindu Nuwantha of Ananda Vidyalaya, Colombo.
