Non linear editing course
COLOMBO: The Sri Lanka Institute of Printing will commence non
linear editing programme in April 2007.
The course is designed for those who are familiar with traditional
film, TV and editing equipment and pursuing a career in modern digital
movie editing.
The course will also be useful for TV and Film artistes who needs to
enhance the technical know how for their career enhancements.
Course contents are an Introduction to non-linear editing, converting
a still picture series to a motion picture, power of visual
communication, script writing basics, the DV, DVCAM & DVCPRO Formats,
movie codecs, creating a rough cut, special effects, capturing movies
for no-line editing, CD Technology, audio, titles, producing final
movie, 2D Animation for video, Creating movie files for the internet.
The selection will be done after an interview due to limited number
of seats in the new Multi Media Lab.
