Fairy tales of disappearances aimed to halt military successes

TREACHERY: All Sri Lankans, other than the shameless minority enslaved to Thuppahi culture and the traitors collaborating with the terrorists and venerating foreign bandits, wholeheartedly support the highly successful anti-terrorist operations being carried out by our gallant security forces, under the patriotic leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

These moles of terrorists and foreign gangs are totally blameworthy and responsible for strengthening the separatists and demoralising our dedicated service personnel all these years.

In the face of unceasing victories being achieved by our brave soldiers, that had shattered the myth of military supremacy and invincibility of the terrorists assiduously propagated by these moles, they are making every despicable attempts now to halt the current military advance, by devising tales of disappearances and human rights violations with the obvious intention of facilitating foreign intervention in our country, as it has happened in Sudan, Somalia and many other nations.

The rag sheets published by the terrorist coolies and devotees of aliens compete with each other to give undue prominence to wild allegations, illusory stories and act even in a self contradictory manner to echo the bogus terrorist versions about tactical withdrawals in the war front and the disappearance of a person in country as what they call disappearance of a person every five hours.

One of the rag sheets published on Wednesdays giving wide publicity to terrorist Tamilselvam’s hollow threats of a catastrophic bloodbath throughout the country criticises President Rajapaksa for following a path of indiscriminate aerial bombardment and scorched earth policies with little concern for humanitarian issues.

The political writer of this rag sheet who always washes dirty linen for the treacherous autocratic UNP leader and the terrorist hierarchy claims that with unidentifiable decomposing bodies found strewn in swamps and with dismal human rights record in the backdrop of increased abductions the country is fast returning to the beeshana era of 1980s.

In a deliberate move to influence the fourth UN Human Rights Council due to meet next Monday, the publication misusing all journalistic norms and freedom of expression outrageously accuses the government for what it calls fuelling barbarism and religious fundamentalism across the country.

In a calculated effort to mislead the masses this shameless columnist attempts to authenticate the illusory and hearsay fairy tales of the Sripathy Suriarachchi MP, a newfound saviour of the reactionary gang.

The columnist who were highly critical of the former President and the sacked Ministers when they were in the seats of power are making concerted but vain efforts for their image building by eulogising and singing hosannas for them despite the fact that they are being speedily plunged into political wilderness by the masses in joining hands with the valiant security forces in their national liberation drive.

Presenting accusation from a different front, another rag sheet which was condemned in the past as “Uncle’s Rag Sheet”, together with all those in the trade as “Media Mafia” by one of their new found allies has published on the same day (last Wednesday) an interview with an unidentified “Sinhala Kotiya”, a loathsome species hazardous than the Tiger terrorists, who claims that he has reports of 100 disappearances in Colombo alone, and of which 64 complaints were received on the previous day, a world record isn’t it? He also claims that there had been 12 deaths in Colombo and possesses information about 16 cases of persons who had been released after payment of ransom.

Narrating a fairy tale, this “Sinhala Kotiya” says that most of the abductions in the Colombo city happen between 11 am and 3 pm in broad daylight, being picked up by armed men travelling in white coloured vans.

Echoing reports being published by the terrorist websites and terrorist funded publications in their concerted propaganda barrage against the Government this Sinhala Kotiya too claims that an influential section within the government and the security establishment are responsible for these incidents but fails to identify who they are.

This account itself reveals that it is a calculated effort to bring disrepute to the government and the security forces.

In another version of his fairy tale, this “Sinhala Kotiya” says that businessmen are picked up from Sea Street etc (a deliberate effort to implicate that the victims are Tamils) and later on are released after ransom has been paid.

To present a factual face to his cooked-up story, he says that in one incident one businessman was abducted when he was traveling with his son and another employee at Flower Road by armed men who were traveling in another white vehicle that overtook their vehicle.

Continuing the fairy tale he says that they were taken to a camp manned by Tamil speaking people in Polonnaruwa, allowed to proceed at checkpoints on the strength of an ID Card produced by the abductees whom the narrator says were Sinhala speaking people.

He adds that when the amount is finalised and the families hand over the monies at a particular place in Polonnaruwa businessmen abducted in this manner are released.

This “Sinhala Kotiya” asserting that he is representing the agony of the abductees, also attempts to draw parallel to what happened in the beeshana era with what he claims to be happening in the country, and also claims that the terrorist LTTE represent the Tamil people as it has the support of 22 Tamil MPs and Karuna lacks any legitimacy.

Although neither this “Sinhala Kotiya” nor the rag sheet failed to divulge the identity, it does not take much effort to know he is none other than the Norway bankrolled NGO puppet who was once expelled from an African country for conspiring to overthrow that government.

Investigations carried by the government, with the establishment of a special unit, Disappearances Investigation Unit under the Criminal Investigation Department has revealed has most of the allegations being made by these vested interests are stage managed allegations to compliment the terrorist propaganda.

The Unit has found that some of those alleged to be missing have immigrated to foreign countries and some others are evidently staying in the terrorist occupied areas.

With the myth of the supremacy of the terrorists crushed, invincibility of the terrorist forces shattered, terrorist forces defeated at Mavil Aru and Muttur, areas from Sampur down to Vakare liberated, several hundred terrorist cadres including many field commanders eliminated, and several dozens of sea-Tiger vessels, boats and arms shipments destroyed in parallel operations as a result of the right military policies being implemented by the President and the country’s military establishment, the coolies of the terrorists, those enslaved to Thuppahi culture and the moles of neo-colonialists are making every effort to halt the military operations and pump oxygen to Sri Lanka’s vanishing species of Tiger terrorists so that these traitors could thrive on the agony of the oppressed masses as they were prospering all these dreadful years, while the country was systematically being destroyed.

The nation suffered all its setbacks in the past due the to treachery of those who were in power, due to the deceit of those who betrayed the nation for foreign and terrorist funds, and due to the foreign intervention to redeem, strengthen and assist the terrorist enemy.

The eminent victory was robbed more than one occasion and the terrorists were accorded a respite. The country is once again moving in the right direction to defeat the terrorist menace and liberate the areas under oppression and occupation.

The time has now dawned for the masses to join together devoid of petty differences to support and encourage the current military operations and defeat all treacherous moves to revive the terrorist strength, halt the current military operations, facilitate foreign intervention in our affairs, and recolonise this country.
