COLOMBO: The Police Headquarters, Colombo, seeks public cooperation to trace the whereabouts of the following missing persons:

Jagath Chandrakumara Hewagama of 70/20, Allen Road, Suramya Mawatha, Maharagama who is wanted by the Criminal Investigation Department in connection with a Rs.19 million fraud of Colombo Grindleys Bank funds is missing.

He is 45 years old, height about 5 feet 6 inches, and tan in complexion. Any information leading to his whereabouts may be informed in writing to the OIC, Commercial Crimes Investigation Unit No.4, Criminal Investigation Department, Colombo 01, or telephone or Fax No.0112-422176.

Pillai Nathan Selvanathan of No.24/1, Mallika Lane, Wellawatta, has been abducted away from his home by an unknown group of persons on January 22, 2007 around 3 0’clock in the evening.

He is 30 years old, height five feet 5 inches, broad forehead, face round, wearing a moustache, lean bodied and tan in complexion. He was wearing a blackish short sleeved shirt and black pair of trousers when last seen.

Any information leading to his whereabouts can be conveyed to Wellawatta Police on 2588212 and 2364860.

Kanapathipillai Ravindran, a permanent resident of Oddusudan, Kachchilemadu, Vavuniya, who was boarded at No.9, Charlemagne Road, Wellawatta has been abducted by unknown persons on January 28 night,this year. He is 30 years old, height about 5 feet 6 inches, moderate built, tan in complexion, short cropped and combed side ways.

He was wearing a moustache and was dressed in a blue sarong at the time of his abduction. Any information to trace him can be conveyed to Wellawatta Police on 2588212 and 2364860.
