165 soldiers, 34 commandos enter service

COLOMBO: One hundred and sixty five soldiers will pass out on February 17 at two passing out parades in Anuradhapura.

Eighty seven will pass out at the Armoured Corps Training Centre at Galkulama and 78 at the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Training Centre at Tissa Wewa.

Meanwhile, another 34 Commandos passed out at the Katukurunda Air Field on Thursday. Commanding Officer Commando Training School Major R. D. Rajapaksha was the chief guest.
