Thirty-one member rugby pool for Hong Kong Sevens

RUGBY: The National Selection Committee headed by Asanga Seneviratne
picked a 31-member rugby pool in preparation for the Cathay Pacific-Hong
Kong Bank Rugby Sevens which will be held in Hong Kong from March 30 to
April 1, 2007.
The final 12-member squad will be selected after the Radella Sevens
which will be worked off on March 3 and 4, 2007 and the Inter-Club Rugby
Sevens which will be held at Longden Place on March 17 and 18, 2007.
Kandy SC’s Chamara Vithanage who came up with a marvellous display at
the Singer-Sri Lankan Sevens in Kandy in September last year has been
picked to lead the Sri Lanka Sevens team in Hong Kong.
