IFS chosen as the application solution provider for Singer Bangladesh

SELECTION: IFS applications, pioneer in providing integrated business solutions was chosen as the applications provider by Singer, a well renowned name for home appliances and sewing machines for its regional centre in Bangladesh.

An agreement was signed between the two conglomerates on January 14, 2007, in an official gathering in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

A combined team consisting of representatives from Singer, IFS and ICE Technologies (IFS distributor in Bangladesh) was formed to work together on implementing this application to the 230 Singer outlets spread through out the country for the next twelve-month period.

Present at this meeting was Chairman and Managing Director of Singer Bangladesh Mahhub Jamil and Vice President IFS Asia Pacific Jayantha de Silva.

Commenting on securing of the contract Vice President of IFS Asia Pacific Jayantha de Silva stated "This contract is a milestone for IFS. It gives up pleasure to work hand-in-hand with Singer a well established home brand.
