Five member TT squad for Asian Games

TABLE TENNIS: A five member table tennis squad comprising four players and the manageress left for Doha, Qatar on Monday to take part in the Table Tennis championships for 15th Asian Games.

The Table Tennis championships will commence today and will continue till December 7.

This is the first time Sri Lanka is fielding a table tennis team at the Asian Games.

This four member team will be led by Deepika Rodrigo (Lake House) Silver Medallist at recently concluded 10th South Asian Games in Colombo and the other players are Thilina Piyadasa, Rohan Sirisena and Kalpani Herath while Namal Gunasekara will be the Manageress cum Coach.
