New website for Foreign Employment Promotion

COLOMBO: The Ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion has launched a new website. This will help create more awareness on foreign employment among Sri Lankans, Minister Rohitha Abegunawardana said.

It would vastly benefit to promote Sri Lanka's professional and well trained manpower in the foreign employment market.

The Minister said the major aim of this programme is to enable Sri Lankans to bring more foreign exchange to the country. This website contains information for job seeking locals as a proper gateway to enter the foreign job market. It has information on opportunities in the world job market.

"We work with accredited foreign job agencies. This would enable job seekers to find good jobs. Applicants can apply for jobs online according to their qualifications," the Minister said.
