Honourable exit

COLOMBO: Former Deputy Leader of the UNP Gampaha District MP Karu Jayasuriya cleared up his office at the Opposition Leader's office at Marcus Fernando Road, Colombo, yesterday.

It is learnt that MP Jayasuriya decided to move out from that office as he has not been named the party's deputy leader at the UNP convention on Sunday. His office at Gampaha was also removed, UNP sources said. He was due to meet the Maha Nayakas of the two Chapters and the Maha Nayaka of the Ramanna Nikaya yesterday.
