A-9 food convoys no risk to national security
The Government will ensure that the transport of
essential items through the A-9 road to Jaffna would not cause any
adverse impact on national security, Leader of the House Minister Nimal
Siripala de Silva said.

"It is very heartening to observe how the
journalists of China Radio International use the Sinhala Language. It is
truly an example to most of our local announcers in some media
organisations. The China Radio International Sinhala Unit journalists
have mastered the Sinhala language well. Furthermore they have shown
their fluency in the language and radio broadcasting", Minister Yapa
said addressing the gathering.
