Three TT titles for Lake House

TABLE TENNIS: Namal Gunasekara (Veterans Womens Singles), Namal Gunasekara/Champa de Silva (Womens Doubles) and R. Wimalasena/Namal Gunasekara (Mixed Doubles) won three titles for Lake House at the Nationalized Table Tennis championships 2006 at the S. Thomas' College, Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia yesterday. The championship was organised by the Nationalized Services Table Tennis Association.

Namal Gunasekara in Veteran Womens Singles beat Ira Ruwanpathirana of People's Bank in straight sets.

The pair of Namal Gunasekara/Champa de Silva defeated Amara Chandratilake/L. Wijewickrame (NAITA) also in straight sets.

The other victory for Lake House came from R. Wimalasena/Namal Gunasekara in the Mixed Doubles, they overcame National Savings Bank (NSB) combination of Prabath Indrajith/Gayani Kalutotage.

In Mens Doubles final Sarath Wijesooriya/Waruna Gunawardane (NSB) had the better of Chaminda Wijegunawardane/R. Wimalasena (ANCL) to emerge winner.

Results - Veteran Womens final: Namal Gunasekara (ANCL) beat Ira Ruwanpathirana (PB).

Womens Doubles final: Namal Gunasekara/Champa de Silva (ANCL) beat Amara Chandratilake/L. Wijewickrame (NAITA).

Mixed Doubles final: R. Wimalasena/Namal Gunasekara (ANCL) beat Prabath Indrajith/Gayani Kalutotage (NSB).

Mens Doubles final: Sarath Wijesooriya/Waruna Gunawardane (NSB) beat Chaminda Wijegunawardane/R. Wimalasena (ANCL).
