Sri Lankan of the year?

Who will be the Daily News Person of the Year 2006 ? Who is the most suitable Sri Lankan to deserve this coveted accolade ? We trust you, our readers, to answer this question. Vote for the Sri Lankan who, in your opinion, is the most outstanding person of the year.

You can also vote on-line at www.dailynews.lk. Please limit each entry to only one nomination for Person of the Year. Please mention your name, address and contact details. Letters and telephone calls will not be entertained.

The Daily News Person of the Year will be announced in January 2007.
