WELLAWAYA: Geethamal S. Ramanayake of Andhawelayaya, Handapanagala, Wellawaya is suffering from an acute heart ailment. Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist Dr. K. Sivakumar has recommended an urgent surgery to save his life.

The surgery is estimated to cost Rs. 240,000. Geethamal's parents say they are unable to foot this bill due to their present financial plight.

KURUNEGALA: S. W. A. D. M. Wijesundara, a Grama Sevaka Niladhari in Polpithigama, Kurunegala is suffering from a kidney failure and doctors have been recommended an urgent kidney transplantation. Presently he is on haemodialysis at the Kandy Hospital.

He is a farther of three. He appeals for B positive type kidney.
