Walltiles with a rustic Greeko Italian look
NEW INTRODUCTION: Lanka Walltile Ltd. (LWL) has introduced a
new range of hand crafted walltiles to the local market, reminiscence of
Greeko Italian designs which dominated those markets in Medieval times.
MD of LWL Lucky de chickera said "these tiles have found favour in
the export markets specially in the US and Canada where they have been
marketed for the last 5 to 6 years in large volumes." "This range of
hand crafted walltile is exquisitely designed with a distinct
characteristic of a variation from tile to tile, as they are not machine
moulded."
"This is its attraction, and coupled with the hues and stains used
and their chuncky appearance, gives it a unique character of style and
finese." "One reason we were hesitant in introducing these tiles to the
local market was because they are fairly high in price consequent to the
intensive labour involved in the manufacturing process", he said.
"Our approach is to target the high end urban customer who would
appreciate the aesthetic beauty reflected in these tiles and also be
able to afford to buy them" he said. |
