Thurstan and Ananda clash at Longdon Place

RUGBY: Thurstan College will meet Ananda College in their Inter-school Singer under-20 'A' division rugby tournament match at Longdon Place tomorrow.

Thurstan will be led by centre Ishara Muthumala and Sasanka Ariyarathne will be his deputy. Gayan Fernando is the captain of Ananda while the vice captain is Amith Nuwan.

The former Sri Lanka player M.J. Mushtaq and the Isipathana and Havies player Gamini Indrasena are the coaches of Thurstan team.

Ananda college has got G.B. Gunadasa and Yugantha Karunarathne, both former Sri Lanka players, to guide them.

This is the first time these two teams meet this season and many spectators are expected to be present at Longdon Place to witness an exciting game of rugby.
