Fifty four houses in Udawatta sinking

HALDUMMULLA: Fifty four families in the Udawatta estate in the Haldummulla divisional secretariat area of the Uva Province Badulla district living in fear that their houses are sinking.

Cracks can be seen in the walls and on the floors of many houses, they say. The cracks have been expanding, residents point out.

They urge the Government authorities to investigate the situation.
