Exporters need long term strategic perspective
EXPORT STRATEGY: Last year Sri Lanka exports topped Rs. 638 Billion
and the country should aim to double this with a strategic approach,
said International Strategy Consultant, Nibras Bawa.
"Strategic exports was in fact what really made world class
organisations, strong economies and great nations.," he said.
Speaking at the Bottom-line Strategies International (BSI
Consulting), the international export strategy consultancy "Victory
Voyage", road show he said Lankan exporters should have a long term
strategic perspective rather than ad hoc hit and run thinking.
Eminent business leaders and key decision makers from sectors such as
apparel, tea, software, shipping and freight attended these sessions.
BSI is planning to hold its second road show with its Bangladesh team
of strategists expected to be in town from July 1 to 3.
