Decision on EU monitors by month end
SLMM member States will take a final decision
over the LTTE's demand to expel EU members by the end of this month.
SLMM spokesman Thorfinnur Omarsson said a second meeting of the
representatives has not been scheduled so far but they were
continuously engaged in a dialogue internally and between
Governments.

Government revenue increases
The Government revenue during the first four
months of the year grew by 19 per cent mainly contributed by direct
and indirect taxes which increased by 21 per cent, said Treasury
