CEAT honours top dealers for record performance

Top tyre manufacturer CEAT celebrated its milestone achievement of surpassing Rs 3 billion in turnover in the last fiscal year, with an awards ceremony and an overnight stay for the company's top performing dealers and their families.

The 100 top dealers of CEAT, from all parts of the country were recognised for their contribution to the company's performance with a full day programme which included games and other entertainment items at Riverina Hotel, Beruwala.

The day concluded with an award ceremony with the theme "Born to Win". Top dealers were presented with handsome trophies, gifts and cheques, with the top 10 dealers receiving specially crafted trophies.

Speaking at the awards presentation, the Managing Director/CEO of CEAT Oscar Braganza said: "If CEAT is winning the battle for Market Share, it is thanks to your support, and the fact that you win at the Micro level everyday, and have helped us achieve exceptional growth in turnover during the past year."

"Over the past year CEAT has completed several major technological upgrades which has further improved the look and performance of our tyres enabling us to penetrate not only the Domestic Market but the International Market as well, with a product presence in 14 countries," he added.

CEAT's top dealers for 2005 were Nanda Tyre House, Vavuniya (first place), U and H Wheels, Colombo 2 (second place) and M.J.R. Peiris and Sons, Kandy (third place).
