CCC School of Cricket excels in India
CRICKET: CCC School of cricket presently touring India did well to
win four matches so far in the All India Pepsi Cup tournament in
Bangalore. CCC u-12 won their first two matches played when they
outplayed hosts Inhaz Ahamed Cricket Academy in the first match, and the
following day beat St. John's College, Hydrabad easily.
Imal Liyanage, the left hand batsman from CCC scored 124 not out Vs,
IACA, and followed it up with a brilliant 52 in the match against St.
John's. Sadeera Samarawickrama the other opener also blasted a quick
fire 84 in the first match. The left arm spinner Tharindu Mendis took 6
wickets for 12 runs to help CCC win the first match easily.
Beat IACA by 180 runs CCC u-12 294 for 2 in 30 Overs.

Sajeewa Salgado was the star in both matches scoring two valuable
innings of 77 and 83. Samapath Hewage 4 for 24 versus St. John's and
Sajeewa Salgado 3 for 20 against CCF Hydrabad excelled in the bowling,
they were brilliantly backed by the fielders.
The second match against CCF, Hydrabad was a thriller which won in
the last ball of the day - which was a wide, after both teams had tied.
