The Government yesterday signed the Letter of
Intent with NEB Infrastructure (Pvt.) Ltd., India to carry out the
feasibility study for the Mass Rapid Transit (rail) System for
Colombo metropolitan area.

CPC goes for Rs. 7.50 m fuel station upgrade
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation will set up new
fuel stations in strategic locations to increase the number of sheds
in the country. We have no intention to divest existing fuel
stations to any third party as a policy of the new Government," CPC
