Brawin heads MSBA

OFFICIALS: Brawin Fernando of Delmege Group was elected as President and Basil Silva of HSBC was elected as secretary uncontested for the third successive year at the annual general meeting of the Mercantile Services Basketball Association held at the Otters Aquatic Club courts on Wednesday.

Jayantha Ranawana (Ranawana and Company), Hemashantha Fernando (Hatton National Bank), Melwin Pollocks (Ceylinco), Jayantha Karunaratne (David Pieirs Motor Company Limited) and Duminda de Silva (HSBC) were elected as the vice president's.

In addition Shenika Herman of Hatton National Bank was elected as the assistant secretary and Roshan Ethiliyagoda of Commercial Bank was elected treasurer.
