iOM signs up with electronics manufacturer Cebu Mitsumi

PARTNERSHIP: Electronics manufacturer Cebu Mitsumi has signed up with for Oracle applications through iOM Lanka's sister company in Manila (iOM Philippines, Inc) to help improve its financial processes with the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite.


PARTNERSHIP: Director for ASEAN, Applications Channels, Oracle (Philippines) Francis Ong, General Manager, iOM (Philippines) Kumar Rasaratnam, CFO, Cebu Mitsumi, Edwin Alvero and Vice President for Asia Pacific, Applications Channels Cecil Ko.

Cebu Mitsumi is one of the largest foreign investors in Cebu (Staff strength of over 15,000) and is one of Oracle Philippines' key customers outside Metro Manila.

Cebu Mitsumi has been a customer of iOM for over 10 years. Mitsumi is vertically integrated and maintains high volume production capabilities to supply all of its product lines worldwide.

Established in 1979, iOM is one of Asia's pioneering IT powerhouses which services a large customer based from different industries in Sri Lanka and internationally.

It provides a range of E-business solutions, including consultancy services software development, disaster recovery, and hardware implementation services.

Mitsumi is vertically integrated and maintains high volume production capabilities to supply all of its product lines worldwide.

"As we expand our global operation, it is important that we use stable, secure systems to manage our financial and manufacturing processes. Oracle helped us to improve efficiency and increase business intelligence. It will support and grow their business for years to come," CFO, Cebu Mitsumi Edwin Alvero said.
