Poster competition to mark Buddha Jayanthi

COLOMBO: The Ministry of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage will conduct a Poster Competition titled "Saradha" among students of Dhamma Schools and Regional Cultural Centres islandwide to commemorate the 2550 Sri Sambuddha Jayanthiya.

The entries should be depicted on 17"X22" boards under the themes "Observance of Morality is the foundation of life", "Let us correct the man to correct the world" and "Co-existence is our Culture".

Entries duly certified by the Principal of the Dhamma School or the Cultural Officer should reach the Ministry Secretary on or before May 02. The pick of the entries will be printed and the winners will be awarded prizes and certificates.

On the left hand corner of the envelope enclosing the entry it should be written "Picture Posters Competition" and be addressed to "The Secretary, Ministry of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage, 8th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla."
