Another Japanese cruise liner here

SHIP VISIT: Another luxury ship 'Peace Boat' carrying nearly 1,000 Japanese passengers will call over in Colombo today. The ship on a world tour would be anchored in Colombo for two days.

Peace Boat is a Japan-based international non-governmental and non-profit organisation that works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development.

The ship on its way on a 17 to 20 day world cruise. The motive is to promote peace and understanding among different cultures of the world. Lion Royal Tourisme is the partner travel agent in Sri Lanka while Ocean Lanka Services is handling the ship and the services in Colombo. Super luxury Japanese passenger vessel 'Asukka 2' with 100 passengers was also in Colombo last week.
