UNP nomination lists to be submitted from Feb. 13 to 15

KANDY: Nomination lists of UNP candidates contesting the forthcoming Local Government Elections will be submitted at District level on February 13, 14 and 15, UNP Deputy General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said.

He said nomination lists will be finalised by the Party's National Nomination Board at a meeting presided by party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe after February 9.

All sitting Local Government members who have not been subjected to any disciplinary action will be granted re-nomination.

A final decision regarding UNP Mayoral Candidates will also be taken by the Nomination Board when it meets after February 9.
