Sri Lanka's largest SAP implementation at Dialog
Dialog Telekom achieved a milestone when it became the only
telecommunications company in Sri Lanka to implement the world-renowned
SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Speaking on the SAP implementation at Dialog Telekom, President and
CEO, SAP South Asia Alan Sedghi said, "The SAP implementation at Dialog

Dialog's achievement was complimented with the confirmation from SAP
India that the Dialog Telekom Implementation was to-date the largest and
fastest SAP implementation in Sri Lanka.
The company is also one of the few telecommunication operators in the
Asian region to have successfully implemented the system. Considered to
be the premier ERP system in the world, the state of the art mySAP
system will integrate, enrich and develop sales and distribution,
materials management, project systems, plant maintenance and financial
information/controlling at Dialog Telekom.
The entire project was completed in 5 months, setting a new standard
for enterprise wide information systems implementation in the country.

The Dialog implementation of SAP is designed to simplify workflows
while reducing duplication of activities and lead-time of processes,
thereby increasing speed of decision based implementation and the
