Army officer's killing: Three arrested

Nuwara Eliya Police arrested three suspects in the killing of Army Intelligence Officer D.M. Dhanapala at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club links on December 22.

Police arrested two Tamils and a Sinhalese, said to have had links with the LTTE and responsible for large scale robberies of vans and killing their drivers. The suspects, produced before Acting Magistrate Nuwara Eliya S.M. Gamage, were remanded till January 16.
