Chemistry paper results re-processed

The 2005 GCE Advanced Level Examination results pertaining to the Chemistry I Paper are being are being re-processed due to some error in the OMR Scanner.

A Committee consisting of the Education Ministry, Examinations Department and the University Grants Commission are reviewing the 2005 GCE Advanced Level Science stream results. The Committee has recommended to the Examinations Department to review the results of the Paper I Science stream read by the OMR Scanner.

The Ministry ensures that this rectification would be done speedily and the admissions process to Universities would be completed without delay.

The admissions of students to Universities would be finalised and accordingly every effort would be made to rectify this matter.

The outcome of this process would be announced to the public in due course, Education the Ministry said.
