No one can stop Mahinda's victory - Athauda

UPFA, presidential candidate and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse will definitely become the President obtaining 65 per cent vote out of the total votes and no one can stop his victory, said Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Athuda Seneviratne.

"Even in the last election the People's Alliance obtained 42 Lakhs of votes but the UNP got only 35 Lakhs of votes even after with the support of Thondaman and Hakeem, Seneviratne said at the inauguration of Road Construction work under Maganaguma Programme in Kelagama, Daigala, Ebilipitiya, Samarugama, Ratukurusagama and Hathmatta Roads in Ruwanwella electorate.

Today UNP states that they are going to abolish the Samurdhi Programme and Samurdhi Officers will be punished Wickramasinghe's attempt is to become the leader to south not only by giving a part of the Country to Prabhakaran but also giving a part of the Country to Thondaman and offering another part of Castern province to Hakeem, Minister added.

There is no doubt all Sri Lankans who love this country will vote for Mahinda to elect him as President of the country on November 17 as Mahinda rajapakse has given an assurance to the masses that he won't allow the separation of the country by keeping the country as a unitary state, minister further explained.

Mahinda Rajapakse will obtain highest number of votes from Eastern Province from Muslims and Sinhalese both as Muslim leaders of Hakeem's group were now left the Muslim Congress and work hard for the victory of Mahinda Rajapakse as they are not willing to dance according to the tune of the LTTE, Minister added.
