TRC calls off incoming free system for mobile phones

THE Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) has called off the implementation of the Caller Party Pay (CPP) system. The TRC had sought public views before the implementation of the CPP system and they have completely rejected the CPP.

eChannelling to be strengthened by Hemas investment

The opening of the revamped Post-Polonnaruwa/Pre-Kandy and Kandy Kingdom Galleries at the Colombo National Museum was held on Wednesday. Minister of Cultural Affairs and National Heritage Mahinda Yapa Abeywadene was the chief guest. HSBC undertook a Rs 4 million partnership with the Colombo National Museum to revamp and fully refurbish the post-Polonnaruwa/Pre-Kandy and Kandy kingdom galleries to preserve the rich cultural and historical heritage of Sri Lanka. The Minister and HSBC Deputy CEO Sarath Piyaratne after the opening.
