Ginigathena special correspondent
The majority of Sri Lankans want Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse to
become the next President, said Minister of Small and Medium Scale
Plantation Industries, Rural Human Resources Development and Livestock
C.B. Ratnayake. Speaking at a SLFP meeting in Ginigathena town,
Ratnayake said Rajapakse was well aware of the public's burning
problems.
"The victory of the Rajapakse at the Presidential election will make
him not only the next President of this island but also the first ever
State leader from the Southern Province," Rathnayake said. |
