UNP anniversary ceremony

THE United National Party's 59th anniversary will be commemorated at a ceremony at the Sirikotha, Pitakotte, tomorrow. It will be presided by Ranil wickremesinghe, Party leader and Presidential candidate.

At this ceremony, the Party will honour 1,500 members who have rendered a yeoman service to the party over the years. Several Party stalwarts will address the gathering.

Meanwhile, Wickremesinghe will tour the Hambantota district on September 8 and 9.
