Photo exhibition in aid of tsunami orphans

A photographic exhibition by international award winning photojournalist K. Rupasinghe will be inaugurated today at 11.30 am at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.

All proceeds of the exhibition, held under the patronage of Most Ven. Weligama Gnanaratana Mahanayake Thera and DIG Sirisena Herath, will go towards relief for tsunami orphans.

Passbooks will be opened at the National Savings Bank for children who have lost both parents in the tragedy. Donations will be also be accepted at a mobile NSB branch at the hotel premises.
