Rotax industrial solutions popular since 1963

When John Roche founded Rotax in 1963 one of his key targets was supplying high quality safe and reliable electrical products to Sri Lankan market. The idea was to give customers the best possible solutions to match their needs.

Already at that time the company's goal was to supply high quality products available in world market and this goal continues to the present day. Rotax was further strengthened with the leadership of Joe Roche the present Managing Director, who moved the company from a sales oriented position to a more effective market oriented approach.

Adapting a customer oriented approach paved the way for a highly professional customer focused marketing team, led by Muditha Silva Marketing Manager, who built an equally balanced team competent in technical detail to sales, marketing and after sales service.

Rotax ensure the quality of their products to make sure that the products comply with current world standards. Since then the business has changed and increased tremendously, from a mere wholesaler to a company who supplies most of the market areas around the island. Today Rotax provides and maintains the connection from electrical manufacturers to specifiers, contractors, plant engineers, and end users.

However, this link represents much more than materials, deliver valuable personal service, an "in-the-trenches" source of information, and product application knowledge. Whether you're a customer, manufacturer, engineer, end-user, or employee of an electrical distributor, there are many important and distinctive benefits Rotax offers you. So we can truthfully say that we have good experience in supplying world class products.

The three new subsidiary companies Roche Engineering Private Limited, Roche Lanka Private Limited and Roche Projects Private Limited are the engineering and project specialists who offer support service to Rotax customers and they themselves are geared to manufacture and assemble electrical products as well. Specifically, these companies are well equipped to manufacture and assemble switchboards and motor controls using globally renowned accessories.

With the formation of these subsidiary companies, its vision is to establish the Roche group of companies as the market leader in Sri Lanka for high quality sophisticated electrical equipment, with total reliability, conforming rigidly to international safety standards.

In any business, solid human relationships make a huge difference; knowing who to trust, whose advice to rely on, who to turn to in a pinch. The key value-added aspect of Rotax is the sincere personal service and qualified expertise you get from a professional electrical distributor - Service you can't get from a catalog, a website, or a part-timer in a warehouse store.

What truly differentiate Rotax from the competition are people; experienced, trained, and responsive people who understand and speak customers language. In addition, increasing number of long serving employees who have been with the organization for more than 10 to 15 years, many of them reassigned with more prominent tasks, is a symbol of encouraging working environment and appraisal prospects at Rotax.

Training being an intense agenda at Rotax, many employees have been trained locally and abroad by professional coaches, whilst the management is continually exploring new ways to train its employees.

In addition to one-stop shopping for electrical products, Rotax have historically been providers of technical data, product recommendations, troubleshooting expertise, and much more.

As exclusive distributors for paramount electrical products, Rotax creates a direct information route back to the source, keeping the principals "tuned in" to the always-changing needs and demands of the marketplace.

In an effort to propagate the most updated information to the customers, corporate website is completely revived and scheduled to re-launch shortly ( www.rotaxlimited.lk )
