London welcomes highest achieving Sri Lanka students
Colombo-Four Sri Lankan students are visiting London as a prize for
being the best performing students in the country. The three day visit
will recognise the students' achievements and expose them to foreign
educational and cultural experiences, states an Edexcel International

Jain are all from the Colombo International School (CIS).
This is the first time that a trip to London has been offered as an
Edexcel prize. Every student in Sri Lanka who entered an Edexcel

Nick Sansome, Edexcel International Regional Director in South Asia
said: "We are overjoyed to be offering students the chance to sample a
different culture. An exciting visit has been organised for the four
students. The whistlestop tour will take in the British Museum,
Buckingham Palace, the British Library and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
They will also meet staff in Edexcel's London headquarters.
"Congratulations to all four students. Incidentally, CIS annually
produces the largest number of prize winners at our awards ceremonies.
So, well done to all their teachers too."
