Martinair to resume Colombo-Amsterdam operations

Martinair will resume their operations between Colombo and Amsterdam from October. Flights will be operated year round, twice a week.

"The destination is fast gaining momentum and this was why we decided to re-commence operations," Interline Development Manager, Emile Arnst said. Martinair offers connections to many European, American and Canadian destinations in cooperation with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Flights will be operated from Amsterdam to Colombo on Thursdays and return on Fridays from Colombo to Amsterdam via the Maldives.

The Saturday/Sunday flights will be operative non-stop between Amsterdam and Colombo.

"The airline has received the green light to load passengers from Male to Amsterdam and back and now we are looking at Colombo-Male," he said.
