Rajiva for World Masters Games in Canada

Rajiva Wijetunge, veterans double international of Ceylinco Shriram will represent Sri Lanka in Athletics and Table Tennis at the World Masters Games in Edmonton Alberta Canada from 22nd to 31st July.

It will be a unique achievement for Rajiva to participate in two sports at the same games. Rajiva has toured Germany, China, Japan, Singapore and Bangkok with the Sri Lanka Veteran Teams. At the 12th World Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Yokohama, Japan 2004, Rajiva and Jayasiri Ittapana advanced to the Second round in the men's doubles.

Also at the Asian Masters Athletics meet held in Bangkok, Rajiva was placed 4th in the Men's shot put event. (Age Group 45-49)
