Belgian Princess arrives in Sri Lanka

Princess Astrid of Belgium arrived here today with Armand de Decker, Minister of Development Cooperation and delegation of 22 Members.They will visit the Southern Province from June 14 to 15.

Governor Kingsley T. Wickramaratne will organise the program for the Southern Province and host the Princess and the delegation for a banquet at the Governor’s Official Residence.

A meeting will also be held at the Governors Auditorium Galle, where a presentation of President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga’s “New Galle Development plan” will be presented by Ashley de Vos - Director General of the Town Plan.

R.A. Dhanushka Amithanjana, 23 of 323/4, Dalupitiya, Kadawatha is suffering from an acute heart ailment. He has been recommended an urgent heart surgery which is estimated to cost Rs. one million.
