Principal allegedly attacks student

A 13-year-old student was allegedly given a severe beating by a school principal in the Kandalama area.

The victim was later rushed to the Dambulla base hospital with severe injuries.

According to the complaint made by the victim's father to the Dambulla police and the Dambulla Human Rights Organization, the son of the said principal and the victim named T.P. Ranasinghe are student of the Kekirawa National School and had a grudge with each other.

Therefore, the said principal came to the victims house and had allegedly assaulted the victim causing injuries.

Dambulla police are conducting investigations.
