Sarath Perera, former Isipatana ruggerite passes away

Sarath Perera, a hard tackling second-row forward who represented Isipatana 1st and 2nd XV teams from 1968 to 1971 under captains such as Savangam brothers, Hafi Abdeen and Sriyantha Rajakaruna passed away recently

His funeral takes place at Mt. Lavinia cemetery at 5.00 p.m. today. His remains lie at No. 1, Pieris Place, Quarry Road, Dehiwala.
