SPEED 2005 Countdown begins

Entries for round 1 of the SPEED 2005 - Championship is now open at the AMRC office at 180, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 04.

This year SPEED 2005 will see a unique collaboration between Sri Lanka's foremost Motor Sports Club, the CMSC and the new dynamic AMRC who promise to improve on the high standards witnessed last year.

SPEED 2005 - Round 1 will be held at the Pannala International Racing Circuit on Saturday, the 28 May starting at 1.00 p.m. High Noon, one might say, but for drivers who burn the track, the entire race format will prove more convenient, allowing a well earned rest on Sunday.

Entries will close at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, the 16 May, so all Racing Drivers are advised to collect their application forms with the Supplementary Rules as soon as possible.

It is the SPEED time of year, and you got to be there for the season's most scintillating racing event.
