Govt will not fall-Anura

Eventhough the constituent parties within the United Peoples Freedom Alliance Government may have different views on certain issues, the government is as solid as a rock and will not fall,said Tourism Minister Anura Bandaranaike.

The minister said that as a Government who cares for the people and works for the people, the UPFA will not fail the people and is dedicated to develop the country. He said that even in countries like Great Britain there have been disagreements between members of the same party and that is part of a vibrant democracy.

Minister Bandaranaike said that this will not deter the Government from going ahead with its development activities and will further strengthen it to work for the wellbeing of the people.
