SLT connects Singer branches islandwide

Singer (Sri Lanka) has chosen Sri Lanka Telecom as its partner in carrying out a major upgrading of the company's communications and branch connectivity.

At an agreement signed between Singer (Sri Lanka) and Sri Lanka Telecom recently, SLT undertook to provide connectivity to 235 locations including direct connectivity to 55 Branches, showrooms and dealer's shops by SLT IP-VPN (Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network) technology, providing the most modern communication facilities to serve the steadily expanding needs of Singer. SLT will also provide 500 telephone lines free to Singer.

The agreement between Singer (Sri Lanka) and Sri Lanka Telecom brings together two of the large corporate institutions in the country for mutual advantage.

Chairman and Managing Director Hemaka Amarasuriya, stated that "the modern communication solution provided by Sri Lanka Telecom, will definitely benefit all our valuable customers".
