FEI Quan Do Awards

THE FEI Quan Do International held their awards ceremony for all grades and colours recently at the FEI Quan Do Training Centre, C.I.S. Auditorium under the distinguished patronage of Superintendent of Police Sunil Kandamby, Superintendent of Police D. Upali Kumarasiri, M.C.M. Zarook Attorney-at-Law (President CIS).

Among the special invitees were Tony Ranasinghe (Managing Director Snap-R-Dawn paints), M. Ifthizam Fakhir (CBA) and M.M. Anas (Managing Director Deen Jewellers).

The event was organised under the direction of Grand Master M. Hassen Kalid the founder of Sri Lanka's own martial art FEI Quan Do.

Assisted by Senior instructors M. Nuzry Khalid (Black Belt) and M. Nuzky Khalid (Black Belt) with a team of FEI Quan Do members including Ajith Kumara, Roshan Madawala, Emad Fakhir, Suntherenathan etc.

Those who received their Black Belts were M. Nuzry Khalid (2nd Black Belt), M. Nuzky Khalid (P. 2nd Black Belt), Mrs. Sudarshanie Guneratne (P. 1st Black Belt), M.R.M. Nihmatullah (P. 1st Black Belt) and S. Bavithran (P. 1st Black Belt).

Honorary Black Belts were awarded to Tony Ranasinghe and M.M. Anas for their services for the uplift and welfare of our society.

A large number of members, parents, well-wishers attended the event. There was also a martial art display by members under the supervision of Grand Master M. Hassen Khalid.
