Stop provoking Security Forces, Ratnasiri tells LTTE

PUBLIC SECURITY, Law and Order Minister and Acting Defence Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake told the LTTE yesterday to stop their attempts to provoke the Security Forces as the Government has no intention to wage a war against them at all.

Tigers seek STF protection

THE leader of the Kanchikudichchuaru LTTE base in Ampara sought the protection of the Special Task Force as his base has been reportedly overrun by Karuna faction cadres in the early hours of yesterday, STF Chief DIG Nimal Leuke told the Daily News.
