Delegation in Sri Lanka
A delegation from the International Cooperative Federation is now in
Sri Lanka to provide relief to the families of the Cooperative workers
who suffered from the tsunami disaster.
They will be visiting areas affected by the disaster and meet the
Minister of Trade and Commerce, government officials and officials
handling the Cooperatives in the country. The delegation is due to meet
the media this evening in Colombo.
Prof. Anil Kumar visits Sri Lanka
Prof. Anil Kumar, Professor of Bioscience of the Sri Sathya Sai
Institute of Higher Learning in Prashanthi Nilayam will be in Sri Lanka
to participate in several activities organised by the Sri Sathya Seva
Organisation in Sri Lanka.
His visit coincides with the 40th year celebrations of the Sathya Sai
Organisation for which Prof. Kumar will be the chief guest.
Prof. Anil Kumar will deliver a public lecture at Saraswathi Hall,
Bambalapitiya on Saturday, April 23 at 5.00 p.m. His lecture will be
followed by a cultural program presented by Ravi Bandu Vidyapathi and
his troupe.
The sessions will be presided over by Karu Jayasuriya Member of
Parliament states the Chairman of the Samithi Ram Balasubramaniam.
Prof. Anil Kumar who has contributed to the development of many
educational institutes and published many books on spirituality and
spiritual path is a scholar in the true sense of the term.
Thousands of devotees from all faiths who visit Prashanthi Nilayam
listen to his interpretations and his own discourses with awe reverence.
The Sathya Sai Seva organisation invites the public to benefit from the
